1. Visit the official website.
2. Log in with the platform you play the game on.
3. As a Steam user: Link your accounts by entering the code sent to your email address. The name displayed in the top right corner of the main menu does not necessarily have to match your in-game display name.
4. If not done already, you must now create an Embark account.
5. If you are not automatically redirected, go to your profile. You can also use this link here.
6. Click on “Edit” under Display Name and type in the name you want to use. Save when you are finished and confirm the warning notice.
7. Your display name in the game should now match your previous entry. After restarting the game, the change should be visible.
8. If you’ve made a typo or want to use a different account name, you can enter a new name every ten minutes. Simply start again at step 5.
