Receive mystery gift – here’s how!
Before you can enter a code in-game, you’ll need to make sure your Nintendo Switch is connected to the Internet. You also need to have played through at least the tutorial to be able to use the feature. You should have completed this after two hours of gameplay at the latest.
To obtain a mystery gift in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, proceed as follows:
- Open the menu by pressing the X button.
- Select the Poképortal.
- Click on the last menu item called Mystery Gift.
- Depending on the code, use one of the following options:
- Receive via Internet
- Receive by serial code/password
