Hogwarts Legacy: Will there be a multiplayer mode?

Whether local co-op or multiplayer will be added to Hogwarts Legacy at a later date is currently not foreseeable. However, we think this is unlikely, since the nature of the game would make a subsequent implementation difficult. Even though there is no multiplayer in Hogwarts Legacy – you still don’t have to roam the large game world alone. You can make friends with other students. Depending on how much they like you, they’ll accompany you on your adventures and fight side by side with you. Your companions also increase their abilities and thus strengthen you in battle. Another advantage is that you won’t have to feel too lonely during your explorations.
Whether you can take more than one companion with you on your journey remains to be seen. Due to the lack of co-op mode, it would be especially interesting if you could give combat instructions to your companions – like having them attack a specific enemy, fall back, or follow you in battle.
